"Doc" Schwartz Honored at Men with Caring Hearts Awards Luncheon

The Staff of Boca Helping Hands was honored to attend the Men with Caring Hearts Awards Luncheon on Thursday, April 28, 2011. Our own Volunteer Coordinator, Solomon “Doc” Schwartz, was one of the honorees for this event.

Doc oversees the recruitment and orientation volunteers. He conducts the Saturday Volunteer Orientation session, ensures that an adequate number of volunteers are available for each day’s work. Doc is “on site” three to four days a week. Doc brings his special joy to everything he does.  He has touched the hearts and lives of the board, staff, volunteers, and clients here at Boca Helping Hands.

Pictured here with Doc are Gary Peters, BHH Board President and this year’s Tiffany Outstanding Service Award Winner Lucas Metropolis from Saint Andrews School. Congratulations to Doc and Lucas from everyone at Boca Helping Hands. Thank you for all you do to touch the lives of those in need.
