The Remillard Family Resource Center is open Monday - Friday, 9:00AM - 4:00PM.

The Boca Helping Hands Food Center is also open on Saturdays from 9:00AM - 12:30PM, as well as Thursday nights until 6:00PM.

Lunch is served from 11:00PM - 12:30PM, Monday - Saturday (excluding major holidays). 

Yes! The Hot Meal Program is open to anyone wishing to join us for a hot, nutritious meal. 

The Pantry Bag Program is open to qualifying Palm Beach County residents only.

Volunteer Application Process:

1.  Fill out the online Volunteer Application and submit.  (Only for those 16 years and older)

2. Print waiver and bring to Boca Helping Hands for your Volunteer Orientation for your or Service Day

3.  After completing the above steps, email the Volunteer Program Manager Melissa Keklik at Melissa@bocahelpinghands.org

Although specific hours are determined by the area you're volunteering in, most shifts are approximately 4-5 hours.

Volunteer Orientations are typically held once a month depending on the time of year. The next Volunteer Orientation can be found here. 

Although we encourage every potential volunteer to attend our Volunteer Orientation, they are not mandatory. If you are unable to attend a Volunteer Orientation but would still like to volunteer, please email melissa@bocahelpinghands.org to discuss alternate options. 

Absolutely. That said, children 15 and younger must have a parent onsite with them.

Boca Helping Hands does not offer shelter or housing assistance. We recommend 2-1-1 Palm Beach for a list of facilities and resources 

You will find a list of foods that we use in our pantry program using this link https://www.bocahelpinghands.org/food-drives. Any of these items would be greatly appreciated, however, cereal, pasta and rice are always in need.

Donations can be dropped off at Boca Helping Hands during the following hours: 

Monday - Friday (8:30am - 3:30pm)
Saturday (8:30am - 12:30pm)

Please do not drop off food outside of the doors outside of these hours. 

 Any cooked foods must have been prepared by a restaurant or caterer that receives regular health inspections and must be “non-plated” leftovers that have been properly stored and transported (refrigerated/frozen). Foods that have been out of refrigeration for more than 4 hours cannot be accepted.

We accept hygiene items such as shampoo, body wash, bar soap, shaving cream, razors, toothbrushes and toothpaste. We do not accept clothing of any kind nor do we accept any other household or kitchen related items

We do not accept homemade prepared foods, frozen foods not in their original package, or opened/partially used foods including boxed or dried non-perishables. We also prefer not to receive glass jars if possible. 

At this time we do not accept donations of clothing or furniture. 

Boca Helping Hands provides many resources to clients facing financial difficulties. Financial assistance is offered to clients who have been residents of Boca Raton for at least 12 months. Clients must bring in proof of residency.

Clients may receive limited financial assistance in a twelve month period for aid with rent (must have a 3 day notice from landlord). 

Note, financial assistance is rendered as available. Not all clients qualify, nor are funds available to assist every qualified applicant. Boca Helping Hands has the final determination of the amount of financial aid rendered, if any.

Note, financial assistance is rendered as available. Not all clients qualify, nor are funds available to assist every qualified applicant. Boca Helping Hands has the final determination of the amount of financial aid rendered, if any.

Individuals wishing to purchase discounted 31-day Palm Tran bus passes can do so at Boca Helping Hands on Tuesdays from 9:00am – 12:30pm. 1-day bus passes are also available for purchase. Discounted rates depend on income eligibility.

In order to purchase discounted bus passes, individuals must provide accepted valid documentation based on Palm Tran’s guidelines. A complete list of accepted documentation can be found here.
