Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program trains students to work in the rapidly growing healthcare industry. Boca Helping Hands partners with the Medical Institute of Palm Beach and South Florida Health Care Institute to provide students with hands-on lab training and clinical experience in a long-term care facility. Start your career as CNA in just 5 weeks!

Requirements:
+ Are 18 years of age or older
+ Have a High School Diploma or GED (in English)
+ Have a valid driver’s license and Social Security Card

+ Provide the last 3 months of bank statements to establish financial need
+ Have strong English language skills
+ Have reliable transportation
+ Have proof of a licensed and insured vehicle
+ Pass Level 1 background screening check
+ Refundable deposit required 


Phase One: One week of Job Readiness taught virtually via Zoom. Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.


Phase Two: This program includes 120 hours of instructor-led classroom lessons, practical, hands-on lab training, and clinical experience. Upon completion, students take Florida’s Board of Nursing (Prometric) Nurse Aide Exam to obtain their certification.


Phase Three: Graduates work with BHH Job Mentors to update/create resumes, practice mock interviews, and learn how to navigate employment sites for open positions.


Please note that all phases are mandatory for successful completion of the program.
