Medical Billing and Coding Job Training Program
The Medical Billing and Coding Program trains students to work in the rapidly growing medical field. Boca Helping Hands (BHH) partners with SouthTech Academy to provide students with the tools needed to gain their Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Certification.
This might be a good fit for you if you:
+ Are 18 years of age or older
+ Have a High School Diploma or GED (in English)
+ Have a valid driver’s license and Social Security Card
+ Have strong English language skills
+ Have reliable transportation
+ Pass Level 1 background screening check
+ A $200 deposit is required to enroll and is fully refunded upon successful completion of the program
Phase One: One week of Job Readiness taught at BHH Monday through Friday from 9am - 4pm.
Phase Two: This program includes six courses, each approximately 6-8 weeks in length. Classes are held twice a week on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 - 9pm. (Approximately 40 weeks of classes in total.)
Phase Three: Graduates work with BHH Job Mentors to update/create resumes, practice mock interviews, and learn how to navigate employment sites for open positions.
