Boca Helping Hands Fall 2011 Newsletter

Each day, the front pages of the newspaper bring more bad economic news. The U.S. Census Bureau recently reported that 1 out of 6 Americans is currently living below the poverty level. The much vaunted and talked about recovery seems to have sputtered. Joblessness continues to rise. Fears are growing over the economic fallout of a European debt crisis. We at Boca Helping Hands need not peruse the newspapers or study charts and graphs to see these realities. We only need to look out our window and see how many people are lined up to receive a hot meal…or a pantry bag.
