Home Health Aide (HHA)

Boca Helping Hands partners with The Family Care Training Center to prepare students to work in the rapidly growing healthcare industry. Become an certified Home Health Aide in just 4-6 weeks (including 60 hours for theory and 20 hours for practical lab training)!

Requirements:
+ Are 18 years of age or older
+ Have a High School Diploma or GED (in English)
+ Have a valid driver’s license and Social Security Card
+ Have strong English language skills
+ Have reliable transportation
+ Have proof of a licensed and insured vehicle
+ Pass Level 1 background screening check
+ Refundable deposit required 


Phase One: One week of Job Readiness taught virtually via Zoom. Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. 


Phase Two: 80-hour course taken over two full-time weeks of study Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.


Phase Three: Graduates work with BHH Job Mentors to update/create resumes, practice mock interviews, and learn how to navigate employment sites for open positions.


Please note that all phases are mandatory for successful completion of the program.
