Boca Helping Hands Hosted 16th Annual MONOPOLY® Event & Casino Night on April 30, 2022

Supporters of Boca Helping Hands passed go at the 16th annual MONOPOLY® Event & Casino Night on Saturday, April 30 at The Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club.

The fundraising event, chaired by Rochelle LeCavalier, attracted more than 150 guests, with Mike Wohl crowned MONOPOLY® champion. 


Boca Helping Hands’ Board President Gary Peters, also a two-time National MONOPOLY® Champion, served as the MONOPOLY® tournament mediator. “This event is so much fun and unique,” Peters said. “Think about how you loved Monopoly as a kid. This event is a way to enjoy the game and give back to our community.”


Proceeds from the event will help assist 27,000 people in the South Florida community through BHH’s various programs, including hunger relief, job training, healthcare, emergency financial assistance, childcare, and weekend meals for Palm Beach County schoolchildren. Event sponsors included JM Family Enterprises, Gary Peters Family Foundation, Tandy and Joe Robinson, Rochelle LeCavalier, Red Oak Partners, and Peter and Susan Brockway.
