Yesterday was a special day at Boca Helping Hands as we opened the doors to the Justin D. Webb Training Center and welcomed students from the Ophthalmic Medical Technology Program at Palm Beach State College. Worldwide, there are more than 285 million people who are visually impaired. As BHH Program Director Trina Chin Cheong pointed out, by opening up the availability to this complimentary vision screening, we were able to add another layer of assistance, support and awareness to the community we serve.
Twin brothers Luke and Jett Justin turned their love for cereal and giving back to the community into a multi-school cereal drive in Boca Raton, Florida. The fifth-graders, now 11, have been volunteering at their local food pantry, Boca Helping Hands, for the past five years.

Boca Helping Hands, a nonprofit organization that provides food, medical and financial assistance to individuals and families, recently opened the first Gluten Free Pantry Bag Program in Palm Beach County. The South Florida Celiac Support Group is providing the funding to help residents in need who have celiac disease or a gluten allergy or intolerance.

Remillard, Jr. Mr. Remillard was many things to many people, but at his core he was a man with a passion for helping others.
