The 24th Annual Boca Raton's Junior League Woman Volunteer of the Year Award luncheon, October 6th, was attended by Boca Helping Hands staff, Gary Peters, Board President, Anne Jaakkola, Barbara Kestenbaum, Roberta Valmond and her husband and brother. Boca Helping Hands is very proud that our CAP (Children’s Assistance Program) Director who was one of the 24 nominees for the 24th Annual Boca Raton's Junior League Woman Volunteer of the Year Award. 


We arrived at The Boca Raton Resort& Clubs' Mizner Center Grand Ballroom and many of the ladies were wearing beautiful hats celebration of the Junior League of Boca Raton's 40th Anniversary. A wonderful program and fashion show was enjoyed by all. 


We, at Boca Helping Hands, are very proud of the amazing work that Roberta has done here with our CAP Program. The CAP Program provides assistance to low-income, underprivileged youth, in their early childhood and adolescent development. Providing help with such items as: Summer School Scholarships, School Supplies, Health Insurance, fees for Tutoring, sports and Camp.
