Office Depot Foundation donates to BHH Basket Brigade

Office Depot delivered Thanksgiving food, canned goods, drinks, paper goods and gift cards on Friday, November 19. Mary Wong, President of the Office Depot Foundation says, “This is what we do. The Foundation is separate from OD. I’m proud to work for a company that in the economic climate continues to give back. Yes we’ve had to tighten our belts, but this is one of the things we still want to do. I love being out in the truck, visiting the organizations we serve. It’s who we are. It’s a great way for me to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.”



Office Depot Foundation has been donating to the community 12 years because it is important.  Everyone needs to eat the other 364 days a year and ODF wants to help families celebrate with dignity and respect. Mary Wong said, “We want every day to be a celebration. We hope that every family can still have a family dinner and celebrate together.”

The Office Depot Foundation supports 15 different organizations. Office Depot’s Philosophy is “"Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he will eat for a lifetime." Chinese Proverb. ODF is leaving a legacy on how you pay it forward.
