Job Training Success Story: Jacqueline D.

Jun 17, 2022

Jacqueline D. aspired to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) — and with the help of Boca Helping Hands, she's received the necessary hands-on training to work in the healthcare industry.

Prior to starting the Boca Helping Hands CNA program, Jacqueline was working in the food service industry. She wanted to make the shift into healthcare and having been familiar with BHH from her volunteer days in high school, she registered for the Job Training Program.

Since completing her training, Jacqueline has landed a job at an assisted living facility. She hopes to gain experience as a CNA and continue her education to fulfill her long-term goal of becoming a Registered Nurse (RN).

"I wanted to start as a CNA and learn the profession from the ground up before moving forward as an RN. This program has been beneficial in helping me work toward that."
