Andrew Hagen
Executive Director
Andrew D. Hagen brings more than two decades of leadership, compassion, and community service to his new role as Executive Director of Boca Helping Hands. Originally from Michigan, Andy began his journey of faith and service at Capital University in Ohio, later earning a Master’s and Doctorate from the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago. He went on to serve two Chicago congregations before becoming Senior Pastor of Advent Life Ministries in Boca Raton, where he led an $8 million organization spanning multiple campuses, schools, and a senior living center.
Andy has served on the Board of Boca Helping Hands for the past eight years and regularly volunteers at the Lake Worth Distribution site. He has also participated in mission trips around the world and authored several books on ministry and discipleship.
Outside of work, Andy enjoys playing guitar, cooking, and traveling. He is married to clinical psychologist Susan Dingle, and together they have two married children and three grandchildren.
“Boca Helping Hands offers more than a handout—it offers a hand up to a better life,” Andy said. “I’m honored to lead this incredible organization into its next chapter.”
