Volunteer Orientations typically take place once a month from January through October. Below, you'll find our upcoming Volunteer Orientation dates. If you are interested in attending an orientation, please email Melissa@bocahelpinghands.org with your chosen date and the number of people attending.

Please note that Volunteer Orientations are not held during the months of November and December.
Volunteer Orientations run approximately (1) hour and are held at:

Prior to attending Orientation, individuals must fill out the Volunteer Application as well as print and sign our waiver.
Dress Code: No Flip Flops - CLOSED TOE SHOES ONLY! Please arrive on time, neat and clean, including suitable clothing. If you are working directly with food you must wear a baseball cap or hair net. This code is for your safety and the safety of our clients.
Age: All minor children (youth ages 15 and younger) must have a parent on site with them while volunteering.
Waiver: All volunteers must sign a waiver of liability on an annual basis. All youth under 18 must have a parent/guardian sign their waiver.

Every February, Boca Helping Hands recognizes its volunteers by hosting a Volunteer Appreciation Dinner. Volunteers who have worked 60 hours or more a year are invited to attend this event.
