Home Health Aide

The Home Health Aide program trains students to work in the rapidly growing home healthcare industry. Boca Helping Hands (BHH) partners with The Family Care Training Center to prepare students to provide training and job placement as a Home Health Aide. Become an HHA in just 4-6 weeks (including 60 hours for theory and 20 hours for practical lab training)!

This might be a good fit for you if you:
+ Are 18 years of age or older
+ Have a High School Diploma or GED (in English)
+ Have a valid driver’s license and Social Security Card
+ Have strong English language skills
+ Have proof of a licensed and insured vehicle
+ Pass Level 1 background screening check
(A $75 deposit is required to enroll and is fully refunded upon  successful completion of the program)

Phase One: One week of Job Readiness taught at Boca Helping Hands Monday- Friday from 9am - 4pm.

Phrase Two: State-of-Florida-required 80-hour course taken over two full-time weeks of study Monday-Thursday from 9am - 4pm.

Phase Three: Graduates work with BHH Job Mentors to update/create resumes, practice mock interviews, and learn how to navigate employment sites for open positions.
