Boca Christian Schools Annual Torch Run: Saturday, January 21, 2012 was a perfect day for a 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Youth Run. Boca Christian had a record 350 entries!

Sunday Evening, November 13th was a magical starry night. Boca Helping Hands had their Annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner at their own Remillard Family Resource Center. The outside was decorated with twinkle lights and the black and white theme tables, decorated with candles and stars. The stars were decorated by Thursday night’s youth activity center and children from the families having dinner at BHH. Imagine That, a do it yourself ceramic company, took them back to their business and fired them.

Roberta Valmond Nominee for Junior League of Boca Raton Woman Volunteer of the Year Award

The 24th Annual Boca Raton's Junior League Woman Volunteer of the Year Award luncheon was attended by Boca Helping Hands staff, Gary Peters, Board President, Anne Jaakkola, Barbara Kestenbaum, Roberta Valmond and her husband and brother.

BOCA HELPING HANDS RECIEVES A $5,000.00 GRANT FROM BOCA RATON REGIONAL HOSPITAL

On Tuesday, September 27th the Boca Helping Hands Team, James S. Gavrilos, Executive Director; Karen Swedenborg, Development Manager and Greg Peters, Development; attended a check presentation at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. They were presented with a $5,000 grant check. The photo was taken by the lake and fountain in front of Boca Raton Regional Hospital.

"Only 3% of the charities we rate have received at least 6 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that Boca Helping Hands outperforms most other charities in America. This “exceptional” designation from Charity Navigator differentiates Boca Helping Hands from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust."
