Fire Explorers Donate Food To Boca Helping Hands

BOCA RATON, FLORIDA- Boca Raton Fire Rescue Explorer Post # 315 worked together and purchased food to donate to Boca Helping Hands. Fire Explorers individually purchased the food to help make this holiday season brighter for families in need. Post #315 donated more than 200 non-perishable items. This is the fifth year that Fire Explorer’s have helped by donating food to Boca Helping Hands.

Boca Raton Fire Rescue Explorer Post # 315 is made up of area youth between the ages of 14 and 21. The program is designed to give the youth in the community the opportunity to discover the exciting field of Fire Rescue.

Participating in local food drives as well as other charitable events is part of the Fire Explorers commitment to take part in community service projects.
