We thank all of the wonderful teams that participated in this event.  Over 200 guests witnessed the BHH volunteers performing miracles as they cooked a variey of dishes using only the food recovered from local restaurants, businesses, and stores.  Our Miracle Chef Event was held Friday, October 17, 2014.  We had three celebrity judges from Publix, The Addison and Ms. America, Florida 2104.  Each team received a certificate and aprons with their winning category embrodered on the front.

There was plenty of food to taste as servers passed the food around to our guests.  The evening was cool and beautiful.  Many guests ate at the tables outside and enjoyed the breeze and music by Ralph Villani on keyboards and his friend on guitar.  A big thank you to Bozena Szalobryt,Food Center Manager and her team led by Cheri Jamison, and many volunteers who brought this magical night together.

The idea behind Miracle Chef is to emphasize Boca Helping Hands' Food Recovery program and our many partners that help make what we do possible.  The food served at lunch each day is recovered food.  Go to http://www.bocahelpinghands.org/food_recovery-partners for a list of food recovery partners.  We thank everyone who came and shared this special evening.
