Gary Peters Honored as Outstanding Philanthropist by Palm Beach County A.F.P.

Boca Helping Hands staff, Board Members, special guests and Gary Peters’ family attended the AFP National Philanthropy Day 2011 on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Ritz Carlton, Palm Beach.  The elegant lunch honored Gary Peters, Boca Helping Hands Board President as Outstanding Philanthropist.

Gary Peters’ commitment to Boca Helping Hands speaks for itself.  In addition to his tireless efforts as President of the Board, Gary has brought some incredible talent to our Board and volunteer ranks.  He has been the driving force behind our annual MONOPOLY fund-raiser that generated over $130,000 this year.  And without question, our magnificent facility…the Remillard Family Resource Center would not be the building it is today without his guiding hand throughout every phase of planning and construction.  When not advocating out in the community on behalf of Boca Helping Hands, Gary Peters can be found in the warehouse moving boxes and re-arranging pallets. No job is too big…too small…or too dirty.

Boca Helping Hands is proud to have Mr. Peters as such an important part of this organization.  Congratulations, again, on this well deserved honor.
