Food Center
Our volunteers serve hot meals five days a week to families and individuals that include the working poor, single parents, children, the elderly and homeless. We also supply grocery bags of food staples to help people meet their food needs.

Hot Lunches: Served Monday - Thursday, and Saturday to the hungry. No one is turned away.
Pantry Program: Available Monday - Thursday and Saturday. Grocery staples plus bread and various miscellaneous food items provided to eligible families and individuals.
Homebound Meals: Hot lunch delivered Monday - Thursday and Saturday to individuals who are homebound and cannot cook for themselves, on a referral basis.
Homeless Kits: These are made available Monday - Thursday and Saturday and contain food and one meal along with items such as shampoo, razors, and soap.
 

Children Based Food Programs:

Boca Blessings in a Backpack: Currently over 110 backpacks are filled with six healthful non-perishable meals for a student. They are packed and delivered to a local elementary school where low-income children take them home on the weekends and return the empty backpacks on Monday.

Sandwich Program: We prepare and deliver 7,000 sandwiches per month to 4 after school centers serving 425 low-income children.

Share Program: Information is provided which offers additional food assistance through a local affiliate.
Referral Information: Available for community services for families in crisis, the homeless and elderly in need of services, domestic violence victims and kids programs.

Assistance Center
We provide financial help to clients who are in emergency situations for such things as rent and utility bills. We also have an active Job Desk where we work with United Way and other organizations to screen clients and help them find a job.

Financial Help: Assistance for emergency situations such as rent, utility payments, prescriptions, transportation and emergency shelter.
Job Mentoring: Working with experienced human resource mentors to find employment for clients who are in need of a job, discussing with them interview skills needed to secure employment.
Job Search Resources: Offering job search, resume development and use of computers and fax machines for job search and application submission.
Information and Referral: Given for those who need additional services or ongoing case work.

Children's Assistance Program
This is a self sustaining program providing assistance to low-income, underprivileged youth, in their early childhood and adolescent development. Providing help with such items as:

Health Insurance related to the government programs for school children
School supplies and uniforms
Tutoring
Fees for sports or sports equipment
Summer School/Camp Fees
Rental of instruments or provisions for participation in a musical program.
