Boca Helping Hands to host Spring Fashion Show and Luncheon

Boca Helping Hands will host its first annual Spring Fashion Show and Luncheon. The event will be held May 6 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Boca Country Club located at 17751 Boca Club Boulevard. This year’s fashion show will highlight the designs from Stein Mart and Little Miss Priss. Tickets are $50 in advance and will be available for purchase at the door for $60 on the day of the show. Net proceeds will benefit Boca Helping Hands.

Boca Helping Hands is a nonprofit organization with the mission of solving hunger and crisis situations for the needy in our community. The resource center, created by local congregations to provide hot meals for the hungry, groceries for poor families and job mentorship, provides more than 27 tons of food annually. In addition, more than 1,000 people received assistance last year with utility bills, medication, shelter and transportation. The nonprofit boasts 250 volunteers and has three full time and one part time staff members.
